Wake-On-Lan not working

Post by Mike »

Hi Lugrain support,

when I try to wake up machines in my network with PingTool, nothing happens.

Only computers in my own subnet can be woken up. However, the subnet mask is set correctly. Can you help me?

Hi Mike,

if the machines in your own subnet wake up, the problem seems to be due to the network configuration. Your routers must be configured to allow Wake-On-Lan broadcasts to pass through. You need a special configuration on the LAN interface in the target LAN.

This is explained in detail here: https://wake-on-lan-tool.com/wake-on-la ... ubnet.html

Please check this and give us a short feedback.
